How can I recover lost files from my PC?
Here's the story. I had some important files on an external hard disc which was connected via USB on my computer. So, I made the mistake and unplugged the cable which connects the device with the PC without stopping it first and I lost everything that was in there. Is there any way I can find those lost files? So heres the story. About a week ago my computer said " no signal" on the screen so I got it fixed. It works fine now but the only problem is that one of my user accounts got completely deleted. Just one out of like 5, the others didn't get anything erased. The pictures on the lost account were really important. I tried VisualLab and other things but as usual you have to pay after you find what you need. real nice huh? I saw some of my lost pics there so I know they're somewhere in my drive. Recovering lost files on my computer?
I had some pictures in a folder on my computer. I placed that folder into a folder on my c drive. To be more precise it was in programfiles xfire. Well I decided i no longer wanted xfire and i unistalled it but forgot about my pictures that were in there. Is there anyway i can get these pictures back. I started to do a system restore but apparently there are no backup points for my computer. I also tried re installing xfire. When i opened the xfire file I saw the folder that the pictures were in for a split second then it was gone.I have looked in the recycle bin as well.

I had been having some problems with my disk on a dell inspirion laptop.
